Our History
The St. Louis Council of Directors of Volunteer Services (CVD) began as the Directors of Hospital Volunteer Council with its first meeting held on May 10, 1962.  Many changes and organizational growth have occurred to shape and reshape CVD into what it is today.

Governance Structure
CVD is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board Executive Committee includes the President, Program Vice President, Strategic Vice President, Membership Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  Committee Chairpersons also serve on the Board of Directors and the United Way Volunteer Center Vice President serves as a liaison for the organizations.
Our Message
St. Louis Council of Directors of Volunteer Services (CVD) has been providing educational and networking opportunities for managers of volunteer programs since 1962.
